A big part of the La Puerta Roja charm is our delicious food. Each morning you will awake to the smell of fresh coffee drifting out of our kitchen where Lupita and I are busily preparing a full breakfast. The menu always includes homemade scones & marmalade of naranjita and poached pears or baked apples as a compliment to the main course of huevos rancheros or other yummy breakfast soufflés.

The Inn originally started because I love to cook and did so professionally in my previous life in the states. My Staff and I are always creating new things based on what we can find locally and what friends bring back from the states for us.
