Russ & Phylissis Walls, February 2008 We were able to stay only one night in Alamos this year, and this was our first time staying in the La Puerta Roja Inn. Terri, the owner, was out of town, but the service was lovely. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast repared just for us. We have already recommended La Puerta Roja to several of our friends.
Lisa Kahn, January 2008 ...Our room was cheerful and perfect for a cool rest in the afternoon. I love your design and decoration of the house. Also the beautiful table settings. Beautiful Loli cooked delicious breakfasts, equally delicious in presentation. She was there to graciously answer all our questions, including where to buy a bottle of wine for our evening aperitifs. Once again thank you for your hospitality.
New York Times, Dec 25, 2005 "Weather you're staying there or not, make a beeline to La Puerta Roja Inn, where the owner and chef, Teri Arnold, turns local produce, fish and game - much of the latter procured by her husband, Pat Shannon, a hunter - into decadent muliticourse feasts that attrach a cluch of spirited expatriates. Dinner is only offered on Wednesdays Nights."
American Express Travel, Sept 26, 2005 "We chose to stay in the lovely La Puerta Roja Inn, a lovely, beautifully decorated hacienda owned by an American chef. She has a flair not only for cooking, but design." Click to read full article
