Hi, welcome to my Blog. Here I will be sharing news and opinions about La Puerta Roja Inn, Alamos, food and travel. Stay posted. Teri Back from Alaska11/02/09We are back from our Alaskan summer. The weather was wonderful this year but the fish were not biting like they have in years past. Looking forward to a wonderful winter in Alamos.
Mexico Travels11/28/08I took a wonderful tour through Mexico this September and October and returned to the hurricane Norbert. The Mexico tour was fabulous. I went to visit some of my old contacts, Gorky Gonzales, Capelo, the Perez family in Capula and so on. It was great to see everyone again and see what new artinasias are being created. I adjusted the return home to beat the hurricane and i am sure glad i did. We received 9 inches of rain in 90 minutes on the night that originally scheduled to drive home. The roads were closed and I would not have been able to get into Alamos for another two days. The recovery continues after the mud slides and flooding. While a lot of damage was done, the storm also had a cleansing and revitalizing effect.
Alaska... here we come.05/02/08Well we are off to Alaska for the big catch and alot of good eating. The Inn is open for the summer months while we are away and the girls are there waiting for your arrival. See you in Alamos.

Cannot wait! April 10-22 I'm off to Paris with my darling daughter-in-law and my three perfect granddaughters. They will learn the fine art of flirting, sipping champagne and, of course, shopping.
